Terms of Service
LunchLook, operated by CampusConcierge
Last updated: August 26, 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
LunchLook (the "Service") is operated by CampusConcierge ("we," "us"). By creating a subscription or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. What LunchLook is
LunchLook is a calendar subscription service that puts your school's published lunch menu into your personal calendar app (Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook, and others), updated automatically.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement to purchase a subscription.
4. Your subscription link
When you subscribe, we email you a personal calendar link and ask which school it's for. The schools we serve share one district lunch menu, so every subscription shows the same calendar — one subscription covers your whole household, no matter which of our schools your children attend. We ask which school simply so we know which one your family is with. You may share your link within your immediate household (spouse, children, guardians); please don't share it outside your household.
5. Plans and pricing
- Free trial — a 2-week trial (about 10 school days). No card required.
- Semester — $10. Covers one semester (fall or spring). Always $10, whenever you join.
- Annual — $16. Covers the school year — 20% less than two semesters. Always $16, whenever you join.
Joining partway through the year: the price is the same whenever you join — $10 for a semester, $16 for a year. What changes is what it covers, and you'll see that before you pay. A December signup gets the rest of December free plus the entire spring semester. A signup between June 1 and June 14 gets that school year's remaining menus free, and the payment covers the next term instead. We do not charge over the summer.
Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice.
6. Automatic renewal
Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel. Semester plans renew at $10 each semester (early August and early January). Annual plans renew at $16/year (in August each year, before school starts). There are no charges over the summer.
You provide affirmative consent to these auto-renewal terms at checkout before any charge. We email you a reminder before each renewal, and you can cancel at any time (see Section 8). We charge the payment method on file on the renewal date; it is your responsibility to keep it current.
7. Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the plan you select and its renewals.
8. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel anytime from the "Manage / Cancel subscription" link in any LunchLook email or on the Manage page. For your security, we email a confirmation link to the address on file; nothing changes until you click it.
Money-back windows
- New subscription: if you already used your free trial for that school, you have 24 hours for a full refund. If you never trialed, you have 14 days.
- Automatic renewal: a 5-day window for a full refund of that renewal.
- Upgrades (Semester to Annual) are not self-serve refundable; contact support and we'll help.
Inside your window, cancelling refunds your most recent charge and ends access right away. Outside your window, the plan is prepaid for the term — you keep access through the period you've paid for and won't be charged again, but that period isn't refunded. Refunds typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days.
9. Menu accuracy
LunchLook reflects your school's official published menu and is an informational aid, not a guarantee of what will be served. Two things can make a calendar entry differ from the actual meal, and you accept both when you subscribe:
(a) The published menu itself may not match the meal. A school may change, substitute, or run out of items — or make a day-of change — without updating the district's published menu. In that case your calendar correctly matches what was *published*, even though the *served* meal differs.
(b) Menus are generated by automated tools that may contain errors. We build entries from the published menu using automated processing, which can occasionally misread or miss an item.
Because of both, treat LunchLook as a helpful guide and confirm with your school for anything that matters (allergies, dietary needs, or whether a specific item will be available). Each calendar entry links to the district's published menu so you can check the source yourself.
10. Service availability
We aim for high availability on a best-effort basis; this is not a guaranteed service-level agreement. The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, issues beyond our control, or third-party interruptions (e.g., Stripe, our hosting or database providers, or school menu sources). We are not liable for damages from service interruptions.
11. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CampusConcierge is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, loss of data, service interruptions, or reliance on menu information. In any case, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the total amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
12. Your indemnification (hold harmless)
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CampusConcierge and its officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
13. Exclusive remedies
The remedies expressly stated in these Terms — including the money-back windows in Section 8 — are your sole and exclusive remedies for any claim or dissatisfaction relating to the Service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, no other remedy is available; and if any stated remedy is held unavailable or to have failed its essential purpose, our liability remains limited as set out in Section 11.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date, and where required, communicated to you.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Our automatic-renewal practices are intended to comply with California's Automatic Renewal Law.
